When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (managed via Clerk, our authentication provider). If you sign up with a social login, we receive basic profile information from that provider.

When you connect a social media account (such as a Facebook Page or other supported platform), we store the access tokens, account identifiers, page names, and connection status necessary to publish content on your behalf. We do not store your social media passwords.

Access tokens are used solely to publish and manage content as directed by you. Tokens are revoked and deleted when you disconnect an account or delete your SocialNetics account.

4. Content You Create or Upload

We store the posts, captions, media files, hashtag sets, and scheduled content you create within SocialNetics. This data is used to operate the scheduling and publishing features. Media files are stored in secure cloud object storage.

5. Usage and Device Information

We automatically collect certain information when you use SocialNetics, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, features used, and timestamps. This information helps us maintain and improve the service.

We do not use your content to train AI models.

We encourage you to review their policies. SocialNetics is not responsible for the data practices of third-party services.

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active, or as long as needed to provide the service. If you request deletion, we will delete your data as described on our Account & Data Deletion page, subject to legal retention obligations.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

13. Children's Privacy

SocialNetics is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 16. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a user under 16, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of SocialNetics after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
