Getting started
From connection to published post. Use this general flow, then review the platform-specific guidance below.
Sign in and open Accounts
Sign in to SocialNetics, then open Accounts from your workspace.
Add a social account
Click Add Social Account and choose Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.
Authorize and confirm
Complete that provider's authorization and confirm the account appears under Connected Accounts.
Connecting your accounts
Authorization differs by provider. Always complete the flow opened by SocialNetics.
Connecting Facebook
Choose Facebook from Add Social Account and complete Facebook authorization. Select the Pages you want to manage. You must have appropriate access to each Page you connect. Personal Facebook profiles and Facebook Reels are not publishing destinations.
Connecting Instagram
Choose Instagram and follow the connection option shown. A supported Professional account may connect directly through Instagram or through the Facebook Page linked to that Business or Creator account. Complete the matching authorization flow. Personal accounts are not supported for publishing.
Connecting TikTok
Choose TikTok, sign in to the TikTok account you want to use, and approve the requested publishing access. Return to Accounts and confirm it is listed as connected.
Publishing and scheduling
Prepare content that every selected destination supports, then review each platform's result.
Publishing a post
Open Create Post, select one or more connected destination accounts, write your caption, and add supported media when needed. Use Post Now for immediate publishing or Schedule when every selected destination supports scheduling.
Publishing an Instagram Reel
Choose Reel content, select a connected supported Instagram Professional account, and upload an MP4 video. Reel processing continues after upload, so its status may remain processing before Instagram finishes publishing it.
Publishing a TikTok video
Select a connected TikTok account and upload a supported MP4 video. Choose a privacy option returned for your account, review Allow Comments, Allow Duet, and Allow Stitch, and complete any applicable commercial-content disclosure. Confirm your music rights, then use Post Now.
Scheduling content
Choose a future date and time for supported Facebook and Instagram content. TikTok scheduling is not currently available because TikTok requires a privacy choice at publish time, so TikTok videos must use Post Now rather than Schedule.
Connections, processing, and failed publishes
Reconnecting an account
If Accounts shows a reconnect warning, choose Reconnect for that account and complete the provider flow that opens. Direct Instagram connections reconnect through Instagram; Facebook-linked Instagram and Facebook Pages reconnect through Facebook; TikTok reconnects through TikTok.
Understanding processing
Some posts complete immediately. Instagram image posts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok videos can take additional time while the platform processes the upload. Check the post's destination status for the latest result.
Troubleshooting a failed publish
Review the failed destination and its status message. Confirm the media type is supported, reconnect the account if requested, and try again. Other selected destinations may already have published successfully.
